Unexpected update arrives on the Xperia C4 and C5 Ultra

A new firmware update has unexpectedly arrived on the Xperia C4 and C5 Ultra, updating each phone with 5 March 2018 Android security patches. The last update these handsets received was back in January this year.

The Xperia C4 update moves it to build number 27.3.A.0.173 (the dual SIM version gets 27.3.B.0.173). The Xperia C5 Ultra sees build number 29.2.A.0.174 (the dual SIM gets 29.2.B.0.174). Let us know your impressions below if you’ve updated.
