Xperia X and XZ series get July 2018 security patches

Sony Mobile is rolling out a new firmware update for the Xperia X and XZ series that updates the phones with July 2018 Android security patches. The Xperia X and X Compact sees their build number from 34.4.A.2.85 to version 34.4.A.2.97.

The Xperia XZ and XZs have seen their build numbers move from 41.3.A.2.149 to version 41.3.A.2.157. The Xperia X Performance is expected to move to the same build numbers as the XZ series, but has not been updated at the time of writing.
